Mama is an Angel
This book is a true love story which begins in 1951, when a young man writes his first love letter to the young lady he hopes to marry. The strong love which develops between them both pulls them through the pressures of a dictatorial regime and the jealousies and constant plotting of a particular group at his university; despite becoming a renowned professor they constantly seek his downfall. Four years after that first love letter they marry and stay together for the next forty-four years. Throughout the book he affectionately refers to his wife as `my angel` or `Mama`. This is a very moving and real-life love story.
