The western terminus of OH 710 is at OH 161 in Columbus, less than 0.25-mile (0.40 km) west of the OH 161 interchange off of I-71 (Exit 117). Its eastern terminus is also within the city limits of Columbus, this time at an interchange with I-270 (Exit 27). Although signed as an east–west route, the overall path of OH 710 is that of an irregularly-shaped inverted "U", with the westernmost and easternmost portions of the route actually following north–south roadways.
