Voyage of the Virgin
Peter Godfrey is drafted into the Royal Navy along with many other young conscripts to serve his country in the hot and humid climes of the East. When Godfrey sails out of Liverpool, he wonders what the future has in store for him. What will he, a `virgin soldier`, learn in this `massive adventure` that is about to begin? Will he ever return? You too will be swept along in this extraordinary adventure, following the highs and lows of life at sea and on land for Godfrey and his comrades.
