As an uncredited “ghost” author, MacIntyre is known to have written or co-written several other books, including at least one novel in the Tom Swift IV series, The DNA Disaster, published as by "Victor Appleton" (a house pseudonym) but with MacIntyre`s name on the acknowledgments page.
