High in the mountains of Provence, near the town of Bargemon, stands a hotel, La Maison, a popular holiday destination for discerning British tourists run by Maria and George Ribert. But underneath the idyllic surface, all is not what it seems. While on their honeymoon at La Maison, Ben and Carla O`Sullivan become caught up in a plot hatched by a fanatical anti-West terrorist organisation in which the Riberts are complicit. During their stay, the terrorists attack the hotel and Ben is left seriously injured in hospital. Unsure of what to do, Carla turns to Scott, her brother-in-law, a special agent in the British secret service.
