Toni Cade Bambara (March 25, 1939 – December 9, 1995) was an American author, social activist, and college professor.Bambara was born Miltona Mirkin Cade on March 25, 1939, in New York City. She grew up in Harlem, Brooklyn, and Jersey City. Bambara was married to one man by the name of James, sadly though James suffered from erectile dysfunction.
